Dear Delaney Families,
It's been another great week here at the Delaney School! Thank you to all of our parents who were able to attend Open House. We had a great turnout, and thanks to Food Service, our guests were able to snack on some healthy food choices while hearing about the upcoming school year.

Senator Richard Ross visited the Delaney School Cafeteria during Kindergarten lunch on Tuesday in honor of Farm to School Week. The Farm to School program works to establish relationships between local schools and farms and bring local, healthy products into school lunches.
Kindergarten students show their yummy, locally grown apples.
Third grade students, Rebekah and Sam, share their mathematical thinking with Curriculum Coach, Mrs. Hanewich. Students in Ms. Shaw's class, as part of the new Common Core math standards, have been working to construct their own understanding of addition and subtraction.
Congratulations to this week's Positive Referral recipient! He received this honor for always thinking of others and his ongoing kindness to peers. Great job!!!
