It has been a wonderful start to the school year! After three weeks, students and teachers have all settled in and there's no doubt that it's going to be a fantastic year!
Delaney School Open House
Please remember that Open House will be held for the Delaney School on Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Open House is a great time to meet your child's teacher, see the classroom, and learn about what to expect in the upcoming year. Please note that Open House is intended for parents and guardians.

Positive Referrals this year!
What is a Positive Referral?
What is a positive referral?
A positive referral is a means of recognizing students for their positive behavior or actions. It will look different for each individual child.
Who can give a positive referral?
Positive referrals can be given by any Wrentham staff member.
What happens when a child receives a referral?
The child is recognized by the principal and congratulated. A phone call is made or a form sent home. The child’s picture is hung on the bulletin board, posted to the Delaney School Blog, they are entered into a raffle to win an end of the year prize, and they are invited to a breakfast with the guest(s) of their choice.

Concessions will be available during the game. All proceeds will directly benefit the WTA (Wrentham Teachers’ Association) scholarship fund. Thank you for your support!
WEST will once again this year be working with the Eagle Brook Saloon to hold monthly fundraisers to support Wrentham Elementary School students. Individuals (open to anyone) can visit the Eagle Brook any time on the first Wednesday or Thursday of every month and a percentage of your bill will be sent to WEST. Please visit WEST for more details regarding this fundraiser and to learn more about the great things WEST does for our school.
