Week 35 (May 19-23)

Greetings Delaney Families!

This morning we honored the brave men and women who have given their lives defending our country.  Students in K-6 performed patriotic songs and poems for one another and all of our special guests.  Thank you to all who were in attendance.  We wish you a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend!

Congratulations to Camden, a fifth grader in Ms. Frizzell's class, for being selected as one of ten 5th graders chosen from Massachusetts to travel to Alaska as a student ambassador with People to People.

If you would like to help Camden reach her fundraising goal, you can visit her yard sale on Saturday, May 24th from 8 - 2 at the Wrentham Center parking lot.  Also, donations can be made at https://fundly.com/camden-s-northern-expedition.

There are still Project Blossom preschool openings available for the 2014-2015 school year in both the 2-day and 3-day program.  For more information visit our website or call the main office at
508-384-5430.

Students in Mrs. Pitman/Mrs. Maxwell's and Mrs. Young's classes joined up for some kangaroo jumping. as part of their measurement lesson.  After jumping 5 times in a row, the students measured and recorded each jump. They also had to make comparisons between their jumps.

Congratulations to the Roderick School fifth graders for an outstanding Gym Show performance.  Thanks to Mr. Maguire and Mr. Moon, the fifth grade teachers and the many volunteers who helped to make this possible.  The Delaney students and staff truly enjoyed the show!
